AMH

AMH, or Anti-müllerian hormone, reflects the number of growing follicles in your ovaries and is measured via blood test. A higher AMH level means you have a higher number of follicles, and thus a higher number of eggs.

Doctors also use your AMH levels to predict how you might respond to ovarian stimulation medication (for IVF and egg freezing). It can also indicate if you have underlying gynaecological condition such as PCOS.

AFC

AFC, or Antral Follicle Count, unveils a live-action preview of your ovarian reserve, assessed through a transvaginal ultrasound. This involves counting the small, resting follicles in your ovaries poised for growth during your menstrual cycle. A higher AFC translates to a greater cast of follicles ready for their moment in the spotlight.

AFC also acts as a diagnostic tool for common gynecological conditions such as PCOS, fibroid and endometriosis.
